Bol Bachchan, pretty well impresses the audiences and is another comedy flick by director Rohit Shetty who has given Golmaal series. The plot remains simple and the film has all masala combination for entertainment.
The Storyline moves around Abbas Ali (Abishek Bachchan) and his sister Sania (Asin) who loses a case which they were fighting to get their ancestral property. With advice of Shastri (Asrani), who also guarantees job, Abbas and Sania migrate to his village. Shastri takes Abbas to Prithviraj (Ajay Devgan), meanwhile Abbas is forced to lie about his identity! He also plays dual role himself, lies with Prithviraj who hates lies. Abbas himself declares that has a twin brother with no mustache. Abbas with no mustache is believed to be gay and appointed as Kathak teacher to Radhika(Prachi Desai) who is Prithviraj’s sister! Later both Abbas and Radhika fall in love. Now with all cover ups and lies, how Abbas tackled the situation is the remaining story!
The comedy has worked out for Abishek Bachchan and sure he scores more in presenting himself. Ajay Devgan suits well to the character of Prithviraj and his trim look attracts audience towards him. Asin have done a decent work and Prachi Desai performance could even be made better. Other than that, notable performance is given Krushna Abishek. Paresh Gantra, Neeraj Vora and others have done their suitable roles.
What attracts more is Abishek’s performance and Ajay’s screen presence. Both have contributed well to the film. The music seems to be average and would have been better. The second half of the film is lengthy but performances by Bachchan and Ajay covered it!
A worthy watch, forgetting all logics!
