Cocktail a film of romantic genre revolves around love and friendship, and more of a triangular love story. The film is peepy, flashy and more gripping! On storyline, it remains simple. Veronica ( Deepika Padukone) who is a modern girl with all lavishness resides in London. By the way she shelters Meera (Diana Penty) who has been dumped in love and relationship. Both though have difference of opinions, share good friendship. Now Gautam (Saif Ali Khan) who flirts woman, got to move with these two ladies. With three revolving around love and friendship is remaining story shown in screen.
Saif Ali Khan is seen several times in such roles and what he has done in the film is colourful.Even he has forgotten his age and had shown boyish styles which is fascinating.
What all strikes is Deepika’s looks and her acting. Dippy has well performed and her glamourous legs makes audience pound on her. She suits well to the role of modern girl who shares everything with a friend and what one could shock on her is, she shares even toothbrush!
Diana Penty could have done better in her emotional scenes and also the girl forgets to move us. May be Deepika had stolen her show! Dimple Kapadia as Saif’s mother has done a perfect role. Randeep Hooda as Diana Penty’s husband is seen performing in few scenes. Music impresses the youngsters and have scored well. A funny colourful film to watch and a visual treat for Dippy’s fans.
